CNC Machinist 1st Shift

CNC Machinist – 1st ShiftJoin a growing manufacturing team as a CNC Machinist responsible for setting up, programming, and operating a variety of CNC equipment to produce precision parts. This role requires experience interpreting engineering drawings, maintaining quality standards, and working safely in a fast-paced production environment.ResponsibilitiesSet up, program, edit, and operate CNC equipment, including CNC laser cutting machines.Manufacture parts according to engineering drawings, CAD files, bills of materials (BOMs), and production specifications.Operate equipment including CNC vertical mills, CNC lathes, press brakes, waterjets, manual mills, and band/horizontal saws.Perform quality inspections using precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.Read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, shop orders, and technical documentation.Verify part numbers, quantities, and materials before and during production.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following 5S and company safety standards.Work with supervisors and production teams to meet quality and production goals.Follow all company procedures and manufacturing standards.QualificationsMinimum 1 year of CNC machining or manufacturing experience required.Experience setting up, programming, editing, and operating CNC machinery.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and technical specifications.Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometers.Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to stand for extended periods.Ability to lift up to 30 lbs independently and heavier items with assistance.Preferred Qualifications3+ years of CNC machining experience.Experience operating: HAAS CNC Vertical MillsACCURPRESS Press BrakesDual Spindle CNC LathesOMAX WaterjetsBridgeport Manual MillsBand and Horizontal SawsExperience with Salvagnini laser systems is highly preferred.Technical school degree or machining certification preferred.EducationHigh School Diploma or GED required.Technical school degree, machining certification, or equivalent experience preferred.Benefits (Employee Contribution)Health InsuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA)Dental InsuranceVision InsuranceFlexible Spending Account (FSA)Life InsuranceRetirement PlanEqual Opportunity Employer: All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or protected veteran status.
