Financial Management Analyst

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY As a Financial Management Analyst, you will use your knowledge of and experience to optimize business results and customer experience by:

Incumbent works directly with the Budget Director and serves as a senior advisor and as an authoritative source of information on a broad range of budget and finance issues.
Provide expert advice and assistance to ASA senior staff in identifying and resolving deficiencies and implementing corrective actions necessary to ensure the sound financial management of their programs.
Develop, implement, review and evaluate financial integrity/management control policies and procedures and develops strategic results-oriented plans consistent with agency goals, objectives and indicators of financial integrity/quality assurance with a knowledge of the Federal framework, requirements, policies, and procedures of the Federal Managers Financial Integrity Act (FMFIA) as well as the Chief Financial Officer's (CFO) Act.
Performs a wide range of analytical, technical and advisory functions related to the budget and financial process.
