Specialty Representative/ Senior Specialty Representative - Bone Health - Lima/Dayton, OH (Overlay)

Amgen seeks a Specialty Representative or Senior Specialty Representative for a bone health territory covering Lima, Dayton, Springfield, Findlay, and Troy, Ohio. The role involves delivering clinical product knowledge to medical professionals, driving appropriate product utilization, and managing customer relationships in a complex payer environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive clinical knowledge of Amgen products and communicate benefits to medical professionals
• Deliver branded sales messages, conduct educational programs, and achieve sales targets through in-person and virtual engagement
• Develop and manage customer relationships, customize interactions, resolve reimbursement issues, and maintain product contracts
• Analyze territory effectiveness, provide marketing feedback, and develop territory plans with District Manager
• Share best practices with colleagues and sustain passion for products throughout the sales cycle

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree, or Associate's degree with 4 years sales experience, or high school diploma with 6 years sales experience
• For Senior level: Bachelor's with 3+ years sales/clinical healthcare experience, or Associate's with 6+ years, or high school diploma with 8+ years
• Sales, marketing, or clinical experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, diagnostics, or medical device industries
• Product or hospital sales experience in oncology, cardiology, inflammation, nephrology, dermatology, bone health, or related specialties
• Advanced relationship-building and influencing skills with focus on sales outcomes
• Local market knowledge and adaptability with core competencies in sales planning, business knowledge, and communication

Compensation: $89,880–$121,602 base annual
