About the Role:

AMR US INC is looking for a driven and experienced Area Manager to lead our commercial cleaning operations in Rockville, MD. Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day commercial cleaning operations across multiple client sites within the assigned area
• Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise janitorial and cleaning staff to ensure optimal performance
• Conduct regular site inspections and quality control audits to maintain service standards
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client accounts, addressing concerns and ensuring customer satisfaction
• Enforce compliance with safety protocols, OSHA standards, and company policies
• Identify opportunities for account growth and support business development efforts

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial janitorial services, specifically managing commercial cleaning accounts.(required)
• Minimum of 3 years of management or supervisory experience. (required)
• Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
• Strong leadership skills, including the ability to manage, motivate, and develop cleaning teams.
• Experience training employees, implementing cleaning procedures, and maintaining quality control standards.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly when communicating professionally with facility managers, clients, and internal leadership.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
• Ability to oversee multiple commercial accounts, ensure client satisfaction, and maintain operational efficiency.
• Hospitality cleaning experience is a plus!
• Company-provided vehicle for work-related transportation.
• Company credit card for authorized business expenses.

Salary Range:
$60,000–$80,000 annually, based on qualifications and experience.
