A bit about us:

We are hiring a hands-on Maintenance Technician with PLC and robotics experience to support a highly automated plastics manufacturing operation. This role is heavily focused on electrical troubleshooting, PLC programming, and robotics support, with some mechanical responsibilities as needed.

This is a great opportunity for someone coming from a plastics or injection molding environment who enjoys working on automation, solving complex issues, and playing a key role in keeping production running efficiently.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities

Support robotic integration, EOAT functionality, and automation within injection molding processes
Program and troubleshoot PLCs (AutomationDirect)
Diagnose and repair electrical systems including motors, sensors, relays, and controls
Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics
Perform preventive maintenance and respond to equipment downtime
Support and maintain injection molding machines and related automation
Repair EOAT (end-of-arm tooling) and assist with robotic integration
Install and troubleshoot wiring, conduit, and electrical components
Assist with mechanical repairs including conveyors, pumps, and production equipment
Document maintenance work in CMMS or internal systems
Communicate with production and leadership to minimize downtime and improve performance

Must-Haves:

Strong electrical troubleshooting experience in an industrial setting
Experience with PLC programming and troubleshooting (AutomationDirect preferred)
Hands-on experience with robotics systems
Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
Experience using diagnostic tools such as multimeters
Minimum 5 years of industrial maintenance experience

Highly Preferred:

Plastics or injection molding background
Experience working with molding machines and automated cells
Familiarity with EOAT and robotic systems in molding environments
