As an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a transportation location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication to travelers, visitors, and staff. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.25 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM Thur 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM Fri 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM Sat 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM Sun 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, employees, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures and appropriate emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport facilities, terminals, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as assigned. Observe and report unusual activity, unauthorized access attempts, hazards, and/or policy violations to appropriate personnel. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures. Assist with access control, visitor direction, and security-related documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location. Minimum Requirements: Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
