Work Environment

Located in the beautiful city of Clearwater, our outpatient office provides a welcoming and collaborative environment for both staff and patients. The work week typically runs from Monday to Friday, consisting of a 40-hour shift where you will be surrounded by a supportive team keen on fostering growth and learning.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to develop personalized treatment plans, ensuring a comprehensive approach to care.
• Implement and modify treatment programs according to physician referrals, adapting methods to meet each patient's unique needs and progress.
• Utilize various therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise regimens, to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
• Engage in patient education, by teaching them and their caregivers about recovery processes, exercise techniques, and self-management strategies.
• Document patient progress meticulously and update treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Consult regularly with a multidisciplinary team to maximize patient care and outcomes, sharing insights from unique cases within orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties.
• Create a positive and encouraging environment to motivate patients, helping them surpass their functional goals.

Therapists will work with orthopedic, pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients, providing care that is tailored to their specific conditions. Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an APTA or CAPTE-approved physical therapy program.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy is required, with a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) preferred.
• Current state license in Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association is necessary.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills to facilitate effective patient interactions.
• Demonstrated ability to establish meaningful relationships with patients and provide compassionate care.
• Proficient in word processing and other computer skills for documentation and communication purposes.

Preferred Experience

• At least two (2) years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically in outpatient physical therapy, is required.
• Experience engaging with a diverse patient population will be considered an asset.
• Current CPR certification.

Compensation and Benefits
