Work Environment

This role is primarily onsite, where you will visit patients in their homes across Clearwater and surrounding areas. The home care setting provides an intimate environment, allowing you to build strong relationships with your patients and understand their specific challenges. Our work hours are from 9 am to 5 pm, Monday through Friday. This schedule affords you ample time to devote to your patients' needs while maintaining a work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver individualized physical therapy treatments to patients in their homes, successfully addressing their personal rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a caseload that allows for consistent, quality interactions with each patient, ensuring a high standard of care and attention.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions, developing customized treatment plans that incorporate a variety of modalities and exercises.
• Implement effective therapeutic techniques particularly for orthopedic conditions, ensuring the utilization of evidence-based practices.
• Encourage and motivate patients to adhere to treatment protocols, fostering a supportive atmosphere that promotes recovery.
• Track and report on patients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery outcomes.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for every patient.
• Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems such as WebPT for documentation, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clients will vary in age and may include individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain conditions. As you provide care in a home setting, you will develop personalized rehabilitation programs that accommodate each patient's unique circumstances, lifestyle, and recovery goals.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Hold a valid and active state license for Physical Therapy in Florida, with no history of sanctions or board proceedings.
• Demonstrate proficiency in various manual therapy techniques and have a solid foundation in effective rehabilitation practices.
• Skilled in developing and implementing exercise programs tailored to individual patients' needs.
• Familiarity with EMR software, specifically WebPT, for accurate documentation of services provided.
• Strong knowledge of current physical therapy methodologies and research, ensuring delivery of effective interventions.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in outpatient physical therapy, with a focus on orthopedic care preferred.
• Experience working in home care settings is advantageous but not essential.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
