Registered Cardiac Sonographer

Registered Cardiac Sonographer Starting Salary: $38.00+ per hour Sign-On Bonus and Relocation assistance eligible Key Responsibilities Perform pediatric cardiac exams. Analyze and report exam results. Provide verbal and written preliminary reports to the Echo Faculty. Assume on-call responsibilities. Assist with research projects as needed. Function as part of a team sharing knowledge and providing technical support. Prepare patients and/or parents psychologically and physically for echocardiogram. Perform the cardiac ultrasound examination as ordered by the physician including M-mode, 2D Doppler, Color Flow Mapping, 3D and strain. Maintain equipment by cleaning scan heads and EKG lead wires after each patient. Share knowledge and provide technical support for one another. Assume on-call responsibilities for neonatal intensive care units at external partnerships. Assist with training of cardiology fellows or visitors. Participate in clinical research related to cardiovascular disease. Measure and analyze echocardiographic data for research projects. Prepare and present findings at meetings. Prepare and present scientific reports and manuals. Qualifications Associate's degree in a related field. 0-2 years of work experience in a related job discipline.
