Minimum 6 months Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a meaningful difference in students’ lives while gaining valuable experience as a Special Education Paraprofessional. In this contract position, you’ll support K-12th grade students—either 1:1 or through classroom assistance—working alongside dedicated educators and specialists to nurture academic, social, and behavioral growth.

In this role, you’ll:

• Cultivate a supportive, patient, and understanding environment for students with varying disabilities and learning needs
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, administrators, and families, using your strong communication skills to ensure effective teamwork
• Implement behavior support plans and positive behavior intervention strategies in accordance with best practices and district guidelines
• Provide instructional assistance by adapting and reinforcing lessons under the direction of certified teaching staff
• Respond with flexibility and adaptability to the changing demands of individual students and classroom settings
• Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics
• Support students’ progress by demonstrating strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities for accurate data collection and monitoring
• Follow individualized education programs (IEPs), facilitating students’ progress toward their academic, behavioral, and social goals

This contract opportunity is available to begin immediately, running through May 29, 2026, with a consistent schedule of 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
