Job Title

Registered Nurse – ICU (SICU)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 3x12-Hour Shifts (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) setting
• Monitor and assess critically ill patients, interpreting ECG rhythms and responding to changes in patient condition
• Administer medications safely in accordance with facility protocols and competency assessments
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
• Participate in required orientation activities, including ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments
• Work at least every other holiday as required by the facility

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 months of combined permanent experience in the ICU/SICU specialty (travel experience may be considered)
• Active and unencumbered permanent Ohio RN license or valid Compact State license — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active ACLS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• Active NIHSS certification — must be in hand at time of submission
• One professional reference from a manager, Assistant Nurse Manager, supervisor, or director in the applicable specialty from an assignment within the past 12 months

Preferred Experience / Skills

• 18 months of SICU experience within a single facility location
• Prior travel nursing experience in an ICU or SICU environment
