Preferred Materials – Concrete Division, part of CRH South Division – is a leading supplier of ready‑mix concrete, concrete block, rebar, and building materials in Florida. With headquarters in Tampa and operations in five key Florida markets, we serve municipalities, developers, architects, engineers, contractors, builders, and suppliers. Key Responsibilities

• Operate a ready‑mix truck safely and efficiently to various job sites
• Complete all required inspections and documentation
• Deliver concrete accurately while maintaining product integrity
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and job‑site personnel
• Maintain a clean truck and work environment
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety policies
• Perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, entering/exiting the cab, and working outdoors
• Support operations as needed, including occasional travel to nearby facilities

Requirements

• Strong communication and comprehension skills
• Ability to use basic hand tools
• Flexible schedule availability
• Must pass all pre‑employment screenings
• Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Ability to operate automatic and occasional manual transmission trucks
• Demonstrated commitment to safety

Qualifications

• Valid Class A or B CDL with current DOT medical card (required)
• Two years of commercial driving experience preferred
• Ready‑mix experience a plus
