About the Role: The Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting the accounting department with general ledger maintenance, financial reporting, and month-end closing procedures. This role involves ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of financial transactions, preparing reports for management, and contributing to the overall efficiency of the accounting functions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain financial records, including general ledger entries
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Reconcile bank statements and balance sheet accounts
• Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
• Support audits by providing required documentation and explanations
• Analyze financial discrepancies and recommend corrective actions

Qualifications

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 1–3 years of accounting experience (public or private)
• Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP preferred)
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
