Home Health Aide (HHA)Part-Time & Full-Time | $17.00–$18.00 per hour (based on qualifications and experience). Current opportunities may include:Weekday morning shiftsWeekday afternoon and evening shiftsWeekend shiftsPRN (as-needed) opportunitiesWhat You'll DoAs a caregiver, you'll provide compassionate, non-medical care that helps clients maintain their independence. Responsibilities include:Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including: Bathing, Dressing, Grooming, Toileting, Transfers and mobility assistance, Safely using a Hoyer Lift when requiredProviding medication remindersPreparing light mealsPerforming light housekeepingRunning errands and accompanying clients to appointments when neededObserving and reporting changes in a client's conditionAccurately documenting care provided using our mobile caregiver appBuilding positive relationships with clients, families, and the office teamTechnology & SupportYou'll have the tools and support you need to succeed:User-friendly mobile caregiver app for clocking in/out, viewing schedules, care plans, and documenting visitsResponsive office staff available to answer questions and provide supportClear communication from our scheduling teamOngoing guidance to help you provide exceptional careWhat We're Looking ForWe're looking for caregivers who are compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing outstanding care.Preferred Qualifications:• Current Virginia CNA license or Virginia HHA/PCA certification • Experience providing in-home care or caregiving • Experience using a Hoyer Lift is a plus • Current TB screening (within the last 12 months) • COVID-19 vaccination record (booster preferred) • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation • Smartphone capable of downloading and using our caregiver app • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds • Ability to pass a criminal background check • Authorized to work in the United States • Must reside in Northern Virginia • Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in EnglishWho Thrives HereYou'll be successful if you are:Compassionate and patientReliable and punctualProfessional and respectfulStrong communicatorComfortable working independentlyPassionate about making a positive impact every dayJoin a Team That Values YouAt SYNERGY HomeCare, our caregivers are the heart of everything we do.
