Radiation Therapist II - Radiation Oncology - Huntersville

Radiation Therapist II Novant Health Radiation Oncology Department is seeking a Radiation Therapist II. Applies ionizing radiation to the patient in accordance with the prescription and instructions of the Radiation Oncologist. Serves as a Super User for technology, Preceptor for new employees, provides training and mentorship, performs both CT and treatment procedures, involves in HDR QA or specialized treatment protocols, demonstrates expertise in VisionRT, Simulation/IV Contrast, and new treatment devices or protocols, engages in at least one presentation/proposal to radiation leadership/physicians annually on cost savings, patient safety, or efficiency, promotes employee satisfaction through active involvement in process improvements. What You'll Do Oversee daily operations of the radiation oncology department, including treatment delivery, simulation, and patient flow Ensure safe, high-quality care in alignment with clinical standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices Monitor patient volumes, throughput, and scheduling efficiency What We're Looking For Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Experience: 3 years of experience as a radiation therapist, including expertise in CT procedures, HDR QA, or other relevant specialized treatment protocols, required. Licensure/Certification: ARRT in Radiation Oncology, required. Additional Skills: Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing, required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
