Receptionist
This position is with the Conejo Valley Unified School District. The salary range is $3,733.82 - $4,497.05 monthly. The location is the District Operational Center at 750 Mitchell Road, Newbury Park, CA. The job is full-time for 12 months with an 8-hour work schedule. The job number is 26-490-1. The eligibility list will be valid for 6 months. The application process involves an online application, a training and experience evaluation, a performance exam, and a structured oral interview.
The essential duties and responsibilities include greeting and directing visitors, answering and routing telephone calls, scheduling appointments, managing mail, preparing records, providing clerical support, and maintaining confidentiality.
Minimum entrance qualifications require one year of clerical, administrative support, receptionist, customer service, or front-office experience involving frequent interaction with the public. Education alternatives may be considered. Knowledge of modern office procedures, customer service principles, reception practices, and business communication techniques is necessary. The ability to operate office equipment, follow instructions, provide exceptional customer service, and work independently or as part of a team is required.
