Assistant/Associate Professor

Position Summary Assistant or Associate Professor, tenure‑track in the Department of Health Behavior. Focus on research and scholarly productivity, with teaching and service contributions. Candidates encouraged to advance health behavior science, including AI applications. Responsibilities Conduct and publish research in health behavior, expanding science of behavioral, social, and structural determinants of health. Secure external funding to cover at least 70% of salary within 3-4 years. Teach one core course and optionally an elective every other year. Mentor students at bachelor, master, and doctoral levels and contribute to training programs. Participate in department service and community engagement. Serve as Campus Security Authority per Clery Act requirements. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements PhD or equivalent in health behavior or relevant discipline. Preferred Qualifications Evidence of work with diverse populations and commitment to equity. Experience with artificial intelligence in public health. Strong record of grant writing and external funding.
