We believe in partnering with others who share these values and understand their importance.Job DescriptionTitle: Graphic Design Coordinator, Commercial EducationOverviewThe Graphic Design Coordinator helps to develop and design training programs for Retail, Customer Care and Wholesale employees. They are responsible for assisting in the ideation and creation of all in-store training tools as they relate to product and selling. An ability to work efficiently with collaborators and execute projects based on strategic direction is key.They have a keen eye for design and are familiar with current design trends and best practices for both digital and print. They’re passionate about the luxury jewelry space and understand the selling experience. Critical thinking, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills are required.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Assist department in developing and executing design concepts for all internal training programs through visual storytelling and creative solutionsHonor David Yurman brand standards, while bringing fresh ideas and a new approachMeet and partner with interdepartmental and cross-functional colleagues to gather all necessary information in order to accurately and efficiently execute all toolsAssist in the coordination of logistics and resources for digital platforms/projectsSeek new methods and find creative solutions for innovative programs to improve the in-store learning process and overall client experienceConduct market/competitive research and industry trends in graphic and digital designOther administrative/coordination duties as assignedEssential Qualifications:A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in design, retail a plusProficiency with Adobe CCHigh level of InDesign skills requiredBasic Premiere Pro/After Effects video editing skills a plusPhotoshop and Illustrator skills a plusKnowledge of digital learning platforms/Learning Management Systems a plusExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAgile, with the ability to multi-task and manage time wellHigh degree of integrityEducation: Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field, or equivalent experienceWork location: New York, NY (Hybrid, in office 3 days a week)Travel: NoneEstimated Pay Rate: $31.00-33.00 per hourBase pay is one component of David Yurman’s total compensation package, which may also include the following for eligible employees: access to healthcare benefits, 401(k) plan, bonus, employee discounts, Summer Fridays (corporate roles), generous paid time off, sick time, and more.Diversity, Equity & Inclusion at David YurmanAs a company founded by artists, David Yurman champions self-expression in everything we do.
