RN PCU- Zanesville OHLocation: Zanesville OH 43701Duration: 13 weeksPay-rate: $45-$48/hrJob Summary:We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality care to patients in a cardiac step-down/telemetry setting. The ideal candidate will have strong experience caring for cardiac patients, including post-operative open-heart patients, heart catheterization recovery, cardiac drips, and complex medical-surgical step-down patients.Key Responsibilities:Provide comprehensive nursing care to cardiac and medical-surgical step-down patients.Monitor patients with complex cardiac conditions and recognize changes in patient status.Care for patients recovering from open-heart surgery and other cardiac procedures.Provide care for patients recovering from heart catheterization procedures.Manage and monitor patients receiving cardiac drips.Care for post-operative and medically complex step-down patients.Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and other clinical indicators.Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation using Epic EMR.Follow established patient safety, infection control, and clinical protocols.Provide care for ventilated patients when required based on patient needs and staffing circumstances.Float to other appropriate units when necessary to support staffing and patient care needs.Required Qualifications:· Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.· Minimum 3 years of cardiac step-down experience.· Open-heart experience is required.· Epic EMR experience is required.· BLS certification is required.· ACLS certification is required.About generis Tek: generis tek is a boutique IT/professional staffing based in Chicago land.
