Payment Operations Specialist II

Summary Patient Business Services is seeking a Payment Operations Specialist II to assist with posting daily payment files and resolve WQ issues. Job Duties Processes daily payment files and manual batches for both EFTs and Lock Box. Maintains daily WQs. Corrects errors in remittance WQs. Reviews and resolves reconciliation issues. Interprets remit codes to properly post payments. Corrects credits or payment disputes in Epic payment WQs. Identifies trends and reports to leadership. Reviews information from payers regarding refunds and recoups. Performs other job-related duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Two years of relevant experience. Preferred Qualifications Payment posting or revenue cycle experience in a healthcare setting. Experience with patient account workqueues. Experience processing refunds. Banking experience. Work Authorization Requirement: This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship. Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of application and throughout the duration of employment.
