Remote Staff Accountant

Supporting the day-to-day accounting operations remotely, the full-time Staff Accountant will ensure accurate financial reporting in compliance with U.S. GAAP while collaborating with various departments on monthly close activities and audits. Key responsibilities Prepare and record journal entries for month-end and year-end close while reconciling general ledger accounts Review vendor invoices for accuracy and process employee expense reports in accordance with company policies Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting and support external audits and tax compliance Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required CPA certification or CPA candidate preferred Minimum of 2-5 years of accounting-related experience Experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or life sciences industry preferred Experience with NetSuite ERP is highly preferred
