Two full-time openings are available to support vital special education services—one beginning immediately with kindergarten through second grade life skills, and another covering a high school life skills caseload starting this fall. If you’re skilled in both settings, there’s a unique opportunity to transition from supporting younger learners to leading a small high school group through the end of the academic year.

Qualifications/Desired Experience

• Valid certification to teach Special Education in Texas (or ability to obtain).
• Experience managing caseloads in life skills classrooms strongly preferred.
• Flexibility to adapt between elementary and secondary environments if needed.
• Ability to collaborate with school teams, families, and service providers.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored instruction to students in K–2 or high school (life skills focus).
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
• Monitor, assess, and document student progress toward IEP goals.
• Foster an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
• Communicate regularly with families and school staff.
