Exciting opportunities are available for experienced Special Education Teachers to support students and staff in a contract role supporting immediate leave needs. This rewarding position involves two roles within the same district near Bridgeport, TX, catering to both elementary and high school life skills programs. Qualified professionals will make a significant impact while gaining valuable experience across different grade levels.

Details for Each Role:

• Full-time positions with a schedule from 7:15 AM to 3:30 PM
• Immediate start; assignments may extend for several months depending on internal hires
• Role A: Elementary school life skills, K-2nd grade, small caseload (4 students), seeking someone with hands-on experience
• Role B: High school life skills, small caseload (5 students). Opportunity to transition to Role B in November following completion of Role A, with potential extension through the end of the academic year
• Candidates who are flexible and comfortable working with both elementary and high school students are preferred

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Special Education Teaching Certification
• Demonstrated expertise working with life skills students at the elementary and/or high school level
• Proven track record managing small caseloads with individualized education plans (IEPs)
• Strong communication, collaboration, and adaptability skills
• Experience supporting students with significant needs is a plus

Responsibilities Include:

• Direct instruction and support in life skills for students with specialized requirements
• Case management, IEP development, and progress monitoring
• Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver top-quality educational experiences
• Providing a safe, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
