Assembly Technician III, 2nd ShiftEaton's ES AMER ARS PDCAD division is currently seeking an Assembly Technician III, 2nd Shift at 517 Puckett Ferry Road in Greenwood, SC. The rate for this position is $20.94 per hour plus a $1.00 per hour shift differential. The core hours are Monday through Thursday from 4:30pm until 1:30am and Friday from 3:30pm until 7:30pm. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.What You'll Do:In the Assembly Technician role, you will assemble, wire, fit, and modify complicated work in the manufacture of medium and high voltage, indoor and outdoor assemblies, breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, customer service orders, power modules, and any sub-assemblies associated with these.Assemble, wire, fit, and modify work in complicated assemblies above the typical complexity.Fill out ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists, feedback forms, and production lists for supervision, drafting, customer service, and engineering as required.Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wire operations as needed.Regularly lift and assemble with heavy copper parts.Maintain minimum levels of Kanban inventory and report shortages to appropriate operators.Inspect all assemblies for loose or missing hardware and cleanlinessRespond to change notices, customer requested adjustments, and development needs.Assist engineering, drafting, and supervision with customer-initiated development work.Work to manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, written or oral instructions from supervision or Engineering to established procedures.This describes the general nature and level of work being performed and is not an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, or skills required.
