Overview
Physical Therapy Assistant – LTAC, travel assignment in Belle Fourche, South Dakota. Start date: 08/03/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay: $1,366–$1,439 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: Days. Setting: long-term care/nursing home environment. This is a travel - temporary assignment.

Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services under supervision in the LTAC/nursing home setting, following state practice guidelines.
- Assess patient needs and implement individualized treatment plans to improve mobility, range of motion, strength, balance, and gait.
- Document progress and therapy sessions accurately; communicate changes to the supervising PT and rehab team.
- Contribute to discharge planning and care coordination with nursing staff, physicians, and other therapy disciplines.
- Monitor patient response to interventions, modify plans as needed, and uphold safety and infection control standards.

Requirements
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant license (SD) in good standing or eligibility to practice in South Dakota
- Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assisting
- LTAC or long-term care experience is preferred
- Ability to work a daytime shift in a travel assignment and commit to the 13-week duration
- Strong communication and teamwork skills; ability to collaborate with the rehab team and nursing staff
