Excellent communication and organizational skills are a must, as is a good understanding of research.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND IMPORTANCE OF JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:The most critical part of the job responsibilities; requires most of the employee’s time and effort.Conducting studies, i.e. time studies, locomotion studies, to be used in enhancement projects in a lean endeavor.Design and implement ergonomic work methods & efficiency optimization strategies.Be a key role player in the implementation of new processes, equipment, and products.Value Stream Mapping and Visual Management.Initiate, plan, execute, and control strategic projects to accomplish operational goals.Potential for travel across eight (8) domestic sites to further improve and hone skills.Work Experience/Education Requirements:Must currently be enrolled in an accredited college or university.Future Metals will consider students who have completed at least four semesters of college in the following major: EngineeringExcellent verbal, written and telephonic communication skills.Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.Good organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Ability to analyze data and draw relevant conclusions to have positive effects on businessFollowing receipt of a conditional offer of employment, candidates will be required to complete additional job-related screening processes as permitted or required by applicable law.We are an equal opportunity employer, and all applicants will be considered for employment without attention to their membership in any protected class.
