Human Resources Office Manager

Burnett Specialists Staffing | Recruiting

The HR and Office Manager oversees both the administrative operations of the workplace and the core human resources functions of the organization. This includes managing recruitment, employee onboarding, payroll processing, and daily office facilities to ensure a productive, legally compliant, and positive work environment.

Core Responsibilities

Human Resources (HR)

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the full hiring cycle, including posting jobs, screening candidates, and conducting orientations for new hires.
  • Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for staff inquiries, conflict resolution, and performance management.
  • Benefits & Payroll: Administer employee health, wellness, and retirement benefits, while assisting with payroll processing.
  • Compliance & Records: Ensure company policies align with labor laws and maintain confidential employee records.

Office Management

  • Facilities Oversight: Manage the physical workspace, including coordinating with building management, handling maintenance, and maintaining office layouts.
  • Procurement: Oversee inventory, purchase office supplies, equipment, and manage vendor/supplier relationships.
  • Operations Support: Coordinate office communications, mail distribution, and assist with organizing company-wide events or meetings.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is strongly preferred.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of progressive experience combining office administration, operations, and human resources.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
