Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Nuclear Medicine Technologist travels for a 13-week assignment in a hospital setting, delivering high-quality imaging diagnostics to support patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide accurate nuclear medicine imaging for diagnostic purposes
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team to ensure appropriate imaging procedures
• Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure proper functionality and safety standards
• Document patient histories, procedures, and related information accurately in the electronic medical records system
• Educate patients about the imaging process, ensuring comfort and understanding throughout the procedure
• Work weekend call shifts with negligible on-call responsibilities
• Work independently and follow safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with patients and team members

Qualifications:

• Associate's degree or higher in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
• NMTCB certification or ARRT (N) certification
• BLS certification
• At least 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
• Familiarity with NMTCB or ARRT (N) certification standards
