Opportunity for a Physician Assistant specializing in Neurology to provide inpatient hospital coverage with a focus on stroke response and adult neurology cases. Flexible arrangement available for locum, locum-to-perm, or permanent placement.
100% Adult patients
Hospital-based | 100% Inpatient | 10% Trauma
Average 1015 patients per day per locum
Onsite team: 1 physician at a time | 3 physicians total | 2 APPs in group
Lab and X-ray onsite for immediate access
EMR: Epic CarePath
Board Certified Physician Assistant REQUIRED
ACLS Certification REQUIRED
ENLS Certification Highly preferred
OH License Highly preferred (open to providers willing to obtain)
Radiologic exam interpretation (unofficial)
Active member of Code Stroke Response Team
PRN coverage
Credentialing timeframe: ~60 days (pending license and background)
