About the Position

• Join a premier, multi-facility regional health system in west-central Ohio offering a permanent, high-priority Plastic Surgery position. Operating within a comprehensive 300-bed regional medical center that serves a 10-county catchment area, this role focuses on providing advanced reconstructive and cosmetic surgical procedures while working in close coordination with a multidisciplinary specialist network.

• Conduct complex reconstructive surgeries for patients following major physical trauma, cancer resections, or severe illness.
• Perform elective cosmetic surgical and non-surgical procedures as clinically appropriate to build a balanced regional practice.
• Collaborate extensively with oncology, general surgery, orthopedic, and trauma teams to provide integrated complex wound closure and reconstructive care.
• Manage comprehensive pre-operative consultations, inpatient surgical planning, and longitudinal post-operative follow-up clinic care.
• Participate in specialized inpatient consultations and trauma team call responses as required by the medical center.

• Full-time, permanent schedule combining dedicated operating room block time, inpatient multidisciplinary rounds, and outpatient clinic hours.
• Shared plastic surgery consultation call rotation to be detailed during the initial interview phase.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Plastic Surgery.
• Active Ohio state medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain Ohio licensure).
• Proven surgical proficiency across both complex microvascular/reconstructive and aesthetic surgical modalities.
• Ability to meet all medical staff credentialing and hospital surgical privileging standards.
