About the Position

Join a premier, partner-backed healthcare provider in west-central Ohio offering a permanent, high-priority Hematology and Oncology position. Working within an advanced regional cancer care center and an expansive 300-bed hospital network, this role focuses on providing compassionate, cutting-edge diagnosis and treatment for blood disorders and malignancies across a 10-county region.

 

• Diagnose, stage, and provide comprehensive medical management for a diverse caseload of hematologic disorders, solid tumors, and hematologic malignancies.
• Develop, prescribe, and manage highly personalized chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and targeted molecular treatment plans.
• Monitor treatment outcomes, manage therapy-related toxicities, and closely track long-term patient survivorship and progress.
• Coordinate closely within a multidisciplinary cancer care network, collaborating regularly with radiation oncologists, surgical oncologists, pathologists, and dedicated navigators.
• Provide expert inpatient clinical consultations alongside structured outpatient specialty clinic care.  

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited medical school with an MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE) in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
• Active Ohio state medical license (or immediate eligibility to obtain Ohio licensure).
• Strong clinical background in modern infusion therapy protocols, clinical trial eligibility, and palliative management.
• Ability to meet all medical staff credentialing and hospital oncology privileging standards.   • Full-time, permanent schedule balancing dedicated outpatient infusion center clinic hours and structured inpatient consultation rounds.
• Shared oncology call rotation schedule to be detailed directly during the initial interview phase.   • Advanced evaluation, management, and tracking of oncological and complex hematological disease states.
• Design and administration of modern systemic oncological therapies (Chemotherapy, Immunotherapy, Biologics).
• High-efficiency multi-setting clinical workflow management (Outpatient Cancer Center and Inpatient Consults).
• Exceptional clinical judgment, empathetic care delivery, and meticulous digital medical documentation.
• Patient-centered communication tailored for high-impact counseling regarding diagnoses, prognoses, and treatment pathways.
