Insight Global is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to support one of our local government clients. This individual will join a staff augmentation engagement focused on strategic initiatives across Artificial Intelligence (AI), Data, and Enterprise Technology modernization. The Senior Business Analyst will partner with both business and technology stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement, gather and define business requirements, facilitate discussions and workshops, analyze existing processes, and support strategic planning efforts. The ideal candidate will serve as a key liaison between technical and business teams, helping drive the delivery of enterprise-wide solutions that align technology investments with organizational goals and improve overall business outcomes.

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of Business Analyst experience on technology-focused initiatives

• Experience supporting AI, Generative AI, data, analytics, automation, or digital transformation projects

• Strong ability to elicit, analyze, and document business and functional requirements

• Experience facilitating workshops, stakeholder interviews, and cross-functional discussions

• Ability to translate complex business needs into actionable requirements and recommendations

• Experience assessing and improving business processes

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level communication

• Experience working with technical teams, product owners, project managers, architects, and business stakeholders

• Experience supporting Agile and/or Scrum delivery teams • AI strategy, governance, or implementation initiatives

• Data governance, data management, reporting, analytics, or modernization efforts

• Enterprise technology implementations or modernization programs

• Microsoft ecosystem experience (M365, Copilot, Power Platform, Azure, Foundry, etc.)

• Large enterprise or public-sector environments
