Field SuperintendentThe Field Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all field operations related to precast concrete installation, ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, and within budget. This role manages jobsite coordination, including layout, sequencing, equipment, and personnel, while working closely with internal teams and general contractors. Reporting to the Field Operations Manager or Vice President of Construction Services, the Superintendent plays a critical role in driving project success from start to finish.Salary range $67,700-$90,000 a year. They are highly organized, proactive, and confident in managing crews, coordinating with multiple stakeholders, and making real-time decisions on the jobsite. This individual leads by example, communicates effectively, and takes full ownership of project performance from planning through completion.Ideal candidate will have:Minimum 5+ years of precast erection experience preferred (or 10+ years of general construction experience)Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredOSHA 30 certification required (or willingness to obtain)Strong knowledge of precast systems, erection processes, and construction practicesAbility to read and interpret construction drawings, crane charts, and plansExperience with survey equipment and jobsite layoutProven leadership and team management skillsStrong planning, problem-solving, and decision-making abilitiesExcellent communication and organizational skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer applicationsWorking conditions/physical requirements:Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting up to 75 lbs occasionally and frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, twisting, squatting, crawling, and repetitive hand/arm useCapable of standing, walking, and moving throughout the facility for extended shifts of up to 12 hoursComfortable working at heights using ladders, scaffolding, swing stages, and man lifts frequentlyAbility to work safely in a production or field environment with moderate to high exposure to safety risks and hazardsWillingness to work in varying environmental conditions, including wet, hot, humid, and cold weather, and outdoors (Depending on location)Ability to wear all required PPE, including but not limited to safety boots, safety glasses, hearing protection, high visibility vest, hard hat, and other PPE as required by the task, department, or work area.This profile summarizes key duties and expectations but does not list every possible job task.
