Registered Nurse (RN) - L&D

Registered Nurse – Labor/Delivery/Recovery/Postpartum

Schedule

Contract: 13 weeks, Shift: Nights, 3 x 12s (7:00 pm – 7:00 am)

Assignment Details

Guaranteed hours: 3 shifts per 13-week contract

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years RN experience required
  • Community hospital experience preferred
  • Travel experience required
  • Licensure must be current at time of submission
  • Required certifications: BLS, FHM, NRP
  • Charting system: Epic required

Responsibilities

  • Monitor fetal well-being and manage labor, including support for vaginal delivery and C-section assistance
  • Provide antepartum and postpartum care, including triage and breastfeeding support
  • Perform neonatal assessments and basic resuscitation, as needed
  • Administer medications and manage IV therapy as required
  • Engage in interdisciplinary support for patient care

Compliance / Notes

Parking details will be provided. Orientation is 16 hours. On-call: 2 mandatory on-call shifts per 6-week schedule. Weekend requirement: 4 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule plus 2 Fridays per 6-week schedule.
