Inventory Coordinator

Pay Rate Low: 20 | Pay Rate High: 20 Pay: $20/hour Must be local to Buffalo, NY area!! Astrix is partnering with a leading company in chemical and ingredient distribution to fill key roles across various departments. This financially stable, growth-focused organization supports industries like paints, coatings, and lubricants—and has a strong history of converting Astrix employees to full-time hires. Key Responsibilities Process and maintain accurate transactions in the SAP ERP system. Support daily plant operations alongside Operations Managers and Supervisors. Track inbound and outbound shipments. Monitor and manage inventory levels and inventory records. Maintain documentation and ensure proper record retention. Coordinate shipments with common carriers and transportation providers. Communicate customer order status and shipment updates to internal stakeholders. Act as a liaison between Operations and other departments. Manage relationships with local vendors and service providers. Support compliance with safety, regulatory, and company requirements. Qualifications HS Diploma or equivalent SAP ERP experience. Warehouse and distribution operations knowledge. Inventory control and management. Logistics and transportation coordination. Data entry accuracy and attention to detail. Customer order fulfillment support. Vendor and carrier management. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to work with multiple business systems and processes. Problem-solving and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
