Shipping/Receiving ClerkLocation: FRCASE NAS North Island/Naval Base Coronado, CATask Description: SHIPPING/RECIEIVING CLERK, BLS 43-5071, SCA 21130Function: Prepares finished product for shipment or storage by placing them in shipping containers, the specific operations performed being dependent upon the type. Knowledge of various items of stock in order to verify content; selection of appropriate type and size of container; inserting enclosures in container; using excelsior or other material to prevent breakage or damage; closing and sealing container; and applying labels or entering identifying data on container. Performs range of supply duties to include but not limited to, receiving, material handling, warehousing, and issue of all types of repair parts and materials.Required experience: N/ARequired education: High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)Compensation: $25.91/hourOther Compensation: Employees will receive a health and welfare fringe benefit of $7.75 for every hour paid up to 80 hours per pay period.Benefits: Employees are offered medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in KAI's 401k plan. Employees accrue bi-weekly from the first week of service 5.54 hours of PTO.
