A leading industrial equipment distributor is seeking an Industrial Sales Professional to develop and grow a greenfield territory with significant long-term potential. This is an opportunity for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building new business, developing customer relationships, and driving territory growth through a consultative sales approach.

You'll have the autonomy to manage your territory while benefiting from strong operational support, streamlined CRM tools, administrative assistance, quote follow-up support, and team-selling opportunities across multiple divisions. This role is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career with an organization known for investing in its people and promoting from within.

What You’ll Do

● Achieve sales and margin levels that meet or exceed annual goals across all equipment offerings

● Spend 80%-90% of your time making sales calls in the territory, developing new buying accounts, and building loyalty through exceptional customer satisfaction

● Coordinate with regional resources to design and deliver customer-centric system solutions across multiple product categories

● Maintain disciplined daily and weekly activity goals in accordance with established sales standards

● Deliver consistent results through a structured sales process and clearly defined sales approach

● Budget and maintain market share targets aligned with regional objectives

● Target competitive accounts to grow the customer base and increase territory penetration

● Develop expertise in technical sales, territory management, product knowledge, system design, and prospecting strategies

● Maintain an accurate and updated customer database within CRM systems

● Maintain excellent communication with customers, vendors, and internal team members

● Recognize potential problem areas and take corrective action when necessary

What You Bring

● Prior outside sales experience, preferably within compressed air systems, industrial equipment, industrial distribution, pumps, automation, capital equipment, industrial rentals, or related industries

● Demonstrated success in professional sales with a proven track record of achieving results

● Strong technical and mechanical aptitude

● Excellent customer relationship-building skills

● Strong time management, organization, and territory management abilities

● Sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership

● Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills

● Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office applications

● Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, vendors, and internal teams

● Commitment to delivering quality work and exceptional customer service

● Valid driver's license
