Tax Accountant

Our client is a single-family office. They seek a Tax Accountant to join their Manhattan, NY office. Responsibilities Support annual tax return preparation and quarterly estimated tax filings Input 1099s, K-1s, W-2s, Axys information, and miscellaneous tax data into GoSystem Calculate tax estimates and prepare estimated tax vouchers Process e-filings for tax returns, extensions, and estimates, including tracking status in FastTax and resolving rejections Review source documents for completeness and accuracy before data entry Reconcile tax information with financial statements and supporting schedules Maintain organized electronic tax workpapers and client documentation Coordinate with team members to gather missing tax information and resolve discrepancies Monitor filing deadlines and assist with tax calendar management Communicate with custodians, clients, and internal departments regarding tax-related requests Verify federal and state filing requirements for individuals, trusts, and entities Assist with special tax projects and administrative support during peak filing periods Requirements 5-10 years of HNW tax experience Family office experience is a plus Broad tax experience, including corporate and partnership tax #J-18808-Ljbffr Abacus Group
