Senior Tax Accountant

Our client is seeking a Tax Accountant / Senior Tax Accountant to join a small, collaborative corporate tax team in New York City. This is an opportunity for a tax professional to take on meaningful responsibility across corporate tax compliance, tax accounting, and provision work while continuing to grow professionally. The team is looking for someone who brings a strong technical foundation, attention to detail, and a consistent track record of performance. The ideal candidate will have experience in public accounting and is interested in building a long-term career within a corporate tax environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and support quarterly and annual tax provisions in accordance with U.S. GAAP and statutory requirements. Prepare and review federal, state, and local corporate tax returns and related compliance filings. Assist with international tax reporting, foreign tax credit calculations, and related filings. Support federal, state, and local tax audits and respond to tax authority inquiries. Reconcile and analyze financial and tax data to support tax reporting and compliance. Work with external tax advisors and third-party providers as needed. Research tax matters and identify opportunities to minimize tax exposure and improve tax processes. Support broader corporate tax projects and process improvement initiatives. Qualifications 2-4 years of relevant corporate tax experience preferred. Public accounting experience strongly preferred. Experience with corporate tax compliance and tax provisions. Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills. Excellent attention to detail, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a small team. Financial services or insurance experience is a plus, but not required. #J-18808-Ljbffr
