Step into a rewarding contract role serving elementary students as a Special Education Teacher in the Denver area. This full-time opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in a dedicated special education classroom—all located at one supportive campus. You’ll guide students through their school day, which runs from 8:15 AM to 3:25 PM, Monday through Friday.

Your expertise will be particularly valuable supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), drawing on your experience to create an inclusive, caring, and well-structured learning environment. Working alongside staff and families, you will collaborate to ensure each student’s success and growth throughout the academic year.

Qualifications:

• Active Colorado Department of Education certification required
• Proven experience working with elementary-aged children in special education settings
• Strong background working with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) populations in schools preferred
• Comfortable with onsite-only, contract position
• Ability to pass a background check prior to hire
• Excellent communication, adaptability, and classroom management skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized and group instruction to elementary special education students, focusing on students with ASD
• Develop and implement IEPs tailored to each student’s needs
• Foster an engaging, supportive classroom environment
• Work collaboratively with staff, administrators, and families to support student goals
• Track student progress and maintain detailed records
• Participate in meetings, trainings, and ongoing professional development
