Environmental Land Use Associate Attorney - Midlevel

Job Description One of Fortune’s Best Places to Work, Perkins Coie, LLP, a leading international law firm, is seeking a mid-level associate to join the Environmental, Energy and Resources group in the San Francisco office. We are seeking an associate to support our Chambers‑ranked California land use practice. Candidates should have at least 3 years of experience in the following areas: California Planning and Zoning Law, including preferably representing applicants in seeking entitlements for residential and commercial projects. Substantive experience under the California Environmental Quality Act (“CEQA”), including reviewing and commenting on CEQA documents and familiarity with streamlining concepts. Knowledge of the Subdivision Map Act and California housing development laws, including the Housing Accountability Act, the Density Bonus Law, SB 330, etc. Familiarity with fundamental real estate transactional documents, including easements and leases and the ability to perform basic title review. Excellent academic credentials are required. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) plan, medical, dental, vision insurance, personal medical and parental leave, up to ten paid holidays, and family care benefits.
