Billing Specialist

Overview LHH is partnering with a fast-growing SaaS company who is seeking a Billing & Collections Contractor to support increased deal volume and revenue operations. This role will focus heavily on order entry, billing execution, and accounts receivable support, with an emphasis on accuracy, speed, and adaptability in a high-growth environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong experience in revenue operations, order-to-cash processes, and SaaS billing who thrives in a fast-paced, evolving organization. Responsibilities Support high-volume order entry and billing processes (approximately 70% of role) Review deals for completeness and compliance with internal booking and revenue recognition policies Configure and process orders within NetSuite Generate and issue invoices, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery Post billing activity to accounts receivable Manage collections activities (approximately 30% of role) Following up on outstanding balances Managing AR aging for assigned accounts Responding to customer billing inquiries Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and operations teams to ensure smooth deal processing Prioritize workload effectively in a fast-moving, high-growth environment Qualifications 3–5+ years of experience in billing, collections, or revenue operations Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) Experience in SaaS, technology, or high-growth environments strongly preferred Hands-on experience with NetSuite required Salesforce experience strongly preferred Strong understanding of order-to-cash processes, including deal review, billing, and AR Ability to work independently and manage high transaction volume with accuracy Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving processes Preferred Background Experience in revenue operations, finance operations, or order management roles Exposure to booking policies and revenue recognition concepts Prior experience in fast-scaling or startup environments Employment Type Contract Compliance & Equal Opportunity Equal Opportunity Employer/Veterans/Disabled To read our Candidate Privacy Information Statement, which explains how we will use your information, please navigate to Additional Notes The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable: The California Fair Chance Act Los Angeles City Fair Chance Ordinance Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers San Francisco Fair Chance Ordinance Benefits Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan.
