Classification: OFFICE TECHNICIAN (TYPING) Salary Range: $3,829.00 - $4,794.00 A Number of Positions: 1 Work Location: Butte County Telework: Hybrid Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Final Filing Date: 7/6/2026 Job Description and Duties Provides clerical support under the supervision of the Adoptions Supervisor II. Receives and directs calls, prepares and sends correspondence, arranges conference calls, and schedules adoptive parent training meetings. Creates reports and processes all personnel documents for staff. Prepares travel claims using the CalAters program. Submits monthly attendance reports and resolves discrepancies with Personnel. Works with vendors to order and maintain office supplies and equipment. Maintains files, assists in establishing or revising office procedures, and distributes written procedures to staff. Prepares adoptive placement and adoption finalization documents. Special Requirements Ability to type at a minimum speed as required by the Class Specifications. A valid typing certificate must be obtained prior to hiring.
