Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse ICU – Lubbock, TX 79410

Start Date: June 15, 2026

Location: Lubbock, Texas

Schedule: Mid shift, 3x12-hour shifts (15:00 - 03:00), every other weekend required. Patient ratios 1:2 to 1:3. Floating between units may be required.

Highlights:

• Level II Trauma Center with 379 staffed beds offering advanced critical care
• Specialized equipment including ECMO, Impella, IABP, and CRRT
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and physical therapy
• Experience with diverse patient populations including trauma, cardiovascular surgery, general surgery, and neuro cases
• Free employee parking available on-site
• 98-day contract with potential for extension

Requirements:

• Active Registered Nurse license (compact license accepted)
• Minimum 1.5 years ICU experience required; 2-3 years strongly preferred
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS
• Cardiac and neuro experience required; trauma and general surgery experience preferred
• Proficiency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management, arterial line management, central line care, continuous IV sedation, vasoactive and cardiac drip titration
• Experience with ventilated patients, BiPAP/CPAP management, ABG interpretation, and suctioning techniques
• Competency with electronic charting systems
• Two professional references covering one year within the last three years
• Willingness to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays during contract period
