About the Position

Our client is seeking a dependable Non-CDL Driver for a local, home-daily delivery position in The Bronx. This role involves heavy-touch food delivery throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Drivers will receive paid training and may have the opportunity to transition to permanent employment.

Pay & Schedule Details

Pay rate: $21 per hour
Estimated weekly gross: $1,000
40 hours per week
AM shift
Five days per week; weekends may be included
Home daily
Paid training
Employment type: Temp-to-perm

Job Details

Equipment: Automatic refrigerated box trucks
Handling: Heavy-touch deliveries requiring hand unloading or the use of hand carts at customers' homes

Key Responsibilities

Deliver food throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut.
Load the truck before beginning delivery routes.
Drive automatic refrigerated box trucks safely and responsibly.
Unload deliveries by hand or with hand carts at customers' homes.
Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries.

Minimum Requirements

2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable box truck or Sprinter van driving experience.
Valid DOT medical card.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
Must be at least 21 years old.
