Help to build a strong, diverse team by recruiting talent, identifying, and developing successors, driving retention and engagement, and fostering an inclusive culture.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the strategy, team with ownership oversight of the design and integration of jet engines for military fixed-wing & unmanned propulsions applications, ensuring compliance with specifications and requirements.Lead engine related systems integration, design and support for military fixed wing (CCA, F124, TFE1042 as examples) applications.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and budgets, driving operational excellence.Leadership capability with diverse, cross functional international teamEscalate effectively with leadership and cross-functionally across the organizationStrong commitment to customer satisfactionBias toward creative thinking and innovation in product design and approach to everyday workImplement design-to-cost and variation-reduction strategiesPromote and build strong team, culture and working relationshipsManage within very difficult resource constraintsIdentify gaps and risks on behalf of the teamBalances workload with team membersMonitor work of team members to recognize when they are "stuck" or "off track"Approve schedules and budgeted time for the tasks of the team membersYou Must HaveBachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, or mathematics.10+ years of experience in engineering project management or relevant experienceStrong knowledge of propulsion systems and jet engine design principles.Proficiency in project management tools and methodologies, with a focus on delivering complex engineering projects on time and within budget.Experience with risk management and problem-solving in engineering contexts.We ValueAdvanced Engineering degrees such as ME (Mechanical Engineering) or AE (Aerospace Engineering).Experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to drive results and meet challenging goals.Passion for innovation and continuous learning in aerospace technologies.U.S. Persons RequirementDue to U.S. export control laws, candidates must be U.S. citizen, U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status under asylum or refugee.About Us:Join a company that's reintroducing itself to the aviation community we've helped advance for more than a century.
