Senior Business Analyst, Equity Index Options

We have also leveraged our expertise and technology to expand into three non-traditional strategies: real estate, venture capital and cryptoassets.We’re seeking a Senior Business Analyst to partner with the Equities Options Front Office, risk, and technology teams to translate trader needs into clear, actionable requirements. You’ll own the end-to-end business analysis for equity options initiatives, from initial discovery through implementation and post-launch review, ensuring solutions align with business goals, regulatory requirements, and risk controls.Responsibilities: Initiate and organize discussions with traders to identify new requirements, appraise expected impacts of proposed projects, and recommend prioritiesDevelop technology requirements and plans with clearly specified tickets/stories/epics in Jira, in collaboration with font office and technology organizationsProvide guidance on dependencies and development timelines. Identifying potential impacts on project delivery to improve planning, budgeting, and predictability of estimated timelinesCollaborate with technology leadership on project plansProvide executive-level project updates to the business on a weekly basisHost retrospectives on completed projects, supporting continuous process improvement as well as recognizing successes.Requirements:Strong knowledge of electronic options trading in Equities marketsKnowledge of options risk, pricing, and operational processesPrevious experience developing detailed technology requirementsExperience using software documentation tools to capture user stories and diagram processesPrevious software collaboration tools experience (Jira, Miro, Confluence)Ability to effectively organize and support prioritization of trading technology scope3-5 years of experience in front office, middle office, back office or risk management roles working with exchange-traded and over-the-counter options and futuresExcellent verbal and written communication skillsBachelor's degree in finance, economics, or quantitative field or material equivalent exposureDemonstrated ability to work independentlyThe annual base salary range for this position is $125,000 to $175,000 depending on the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and relevant skill set. The position is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
