As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.68 / Hour Job Schedule: Fri 05:00 AM - 01:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients and visitors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business, perimeter, entrances, parking areas, and other assigned locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy concerns. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and document entries, deliveries, and incidents according to site procedures. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established protocols. Prepare accurate activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision. Minimum Requirements: Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
