As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned logistics and distribution locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for all personnel and visitors. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.60 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeThur06:00 AM – 05:00 PMFri06:00 AM – 05:00 PM What You’ll Do: Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise Responsibilities: Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergencies as needed. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, supporting the needs of the logistics and distribution location. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues. Monitor access points and observe activities within the logistics and distribution environment to help to deter potential security-related risks. Document and report any security-related incidents, hazards, or unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel at Allied Universal. Assist with emergency response activities and follow established protocols specific to the logistics and distribution setting. What We’re Looking For: Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Minimum Requirements: Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred. Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
