Bavarian Inn Restaurant isseeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join our Accounting Team. Thisrole offers the opportunity to go beyond processing weekly payroll. Pay &Schedule

• Full-Time with Comprehensive Benefits
• $23.00-$25.00 per Hour (Based on Experience)
• Schedule: Monday-Friday,daytime hours (typically 8am or 9am-5pm)

What You'll BeDoing
As our Payroll Specialist,you'll play a key role in the success of our payroll operations by combiningaccurate payroll processing with reporting, analytics, compliance, andcontinuous process improvement. You'll work closely with Human Resources, Accounting,and department leaders to help ensure accurate payroll while producingmeaningful reporting.

Responsibilities include:

• Process weekly in-house payroll from start to finish, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
• Review timecards, audit payroll information, and partner with managers to resolve discrepancies before payroll is finalized.
• Maintain payroll records,including wage changes, deductions, garnishments, benefits, and otherpayroll-related information.
• Prepare payroll reports, laboranalytics, reconciliations, audit documentation, and recurring managementreports.
• Research and respond toquestions regarding payroll, tax, and timekeeping while providing exceptionalcustomer service.
• Support payroll tax,retirement, benefit, and compliance-related activities, while maintainingstrong internal controls.
• Analyze payroll data, identifytrends, and recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy,and reporting.
• Collaborate with theController, Human Resources, and Accounting to support payroll operations andcontinuous process improvements.

Qualifications:

• 5years minimum experience performing in-house payroll; hospitality industry is aplus!
• Associate Degree in Accounting or related field required; Bachelor's Degree preferred
• Time& attendance software experience required; Netchex experience a plus
• Proficientin Microsoft Office Suite; Advanced Excel skills
• Excellentwritten, oral, and verbal communication skills
• Stronganalytical and financial skills required

PhysicalRequirements:

• Ability to remain seated/stationary while operating a computer for prolonged periods
• Mustbe able to occasionally lift up to 20 pounds
